617 Squadron Association Stained Glass Window Appeal

Jim Dooley from Living Pictures is joined by three members of 291 (Westminster & Chelsea) Squadron RAF Air Cadets.

The Avro Lancaster bomber featured in the background is a unique animated Living Picture and is currently on special display at The Royal Air Force Club Piccadilly.

This unique picture includes 8 signatures of former RAF Bomber Command aircrew all veterans of World War II.

It is soon to be auctioned at the RAF Club to raise money for the 617 Squadron Association Stained Glass Window Appeal.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to fund a new commemorative-stained glass window in the nave at Scampton Church and to support the Guy Gibson VC ‘flying scholarship’.
